BellaBlu stands for acoustic music in a small cast. We interpret our favorite pieces with vocals, guitar and double bass, starting with jazz and swing standards of the 20s and 30s up to current pop songs. For about 5 years we have been enthusiastically accompanying the most beautiful day of many couples, and can therefore look back on many great memories: from the champagne reception on a tiny fishing boat, to stunning, completely vegan menus, to the most unusual wedding dresses, everything was there! And that gives us great pleasure!
What is your favorite wedding memory?
Tough question… But I think the aforementioned fishing boat scenery is definitely up there! It was just super cramped, the double bass barely fit below deck, everything swayed and rocked, and we all had a lot of fun! You connected immediately, which is hard to imagine nowadays…
Which song is your favorite for the first dance?
Traditionally, the bridal waltz opens and of course we always respond to the wishes of the bridal couple. However, one highly requested track has become our favorite and that is Simply Red’s “If You Don’t Know Me By Now”. A wonderful pop song that couldn’t fit better!

THE SWINGIN’ POPS

With clarinet, double bass, jazz guitar, drums and vocals, we interpret today’s best-known radio hits as well as the most beautiful classic songs of the 20th century in a fresh and new way. We give our songs the unique swing sound of the 20s, 30s and 40s.
What is your favorite wedding memory?
The band played on the occasion of a wedding in a castle courtyard, while the wedding party celebrated the cutting of the cake and a heavy rain fell on everything and everyone out of nowhere. Luckily we were standing a little higher under a pavilion, so we could continue playing without any problems. I will never forget what happened next, because instead of taking shelter from the rain in the dry castle café, the bride, groom and the entire wedding party began to dance in the pouring rain. This scene could not have been staged better in any film in the world.
Which song is your favorite for the first dance?
My favorite for the first dance is always the song that connects the bride and groom in a very specific way. Whether it’s a classic opening waltz à la Richard Strauss or a cool party number like “Crazy In Love” is up to the bridal couple to decide for themselves.

Manuel of Eden
Please introduce yourself
Manuel von Eden & his wonderful band have dedicated themselves entirely to the music of the 1920s. We carry on what was played in the melting pot of Berlin and on the other side of the ocean in music from Charleston and swing to tango and also adapt newer titles in our own style. Of course, we love to play at weddings, whether as an acoustic walking act, a trio for dinner or as a large band for dancing!
What is your favorite wedding memory?
A large ballroom in Berlin, tucked away in a block of flats where you wouldn’t have expected it… filled with friendly guests and a happy bridal couple!
Which song is your favorite for the first dance?
“I’ll dance with you into the sky” or the wonderful “Somewhere over the Rainbow” hasn’t lost any of its charm!

BERLIN’S FINEST
Please introduce yourself
We are BERLIN’s FINEST and, as the name suggests, from Berlin, but we also travel a lot wherever we are getting married. Our repertoire ranges from the golden 20s to today and that fits together wonderfully, because our band sound breathes a wonderful vintage charm into everything. We are available in very different casts and sizes, so there is the right thing for every wedding, whether very small for the reception and dinner or very large for the party afterwards!
What is your favorite wedding memory?
There were so many, because there are really many very, very nice places to get married here and if you add nice people and a well-planned but relaxed wedding to that, you count yourself very lucky to be able to be there! But apart from that, there were actually some spontaneous dance numbers that were well worth seeing at our performances, which will be fondly remembered!
Which song is your favorite for the first dance?
The song that makes the wedding couple happy is always the best!
